Marketing Co-ordinator

Hands On Recruitment has partnered with a growing, forward-thinking property and investment business seeking a hands-on Marketing Co-ordinator to take full ownership of the marketing function end-to-end.
This is a strategic yet execution-driven role suited to someone who enjoys building structure, managing multiple channels, and delivering measurable results in a commercially focused environment. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and reporting on marketing activity that supports lead generation, brand growth, listing performance, and investor communications.

Key Responsibilities
1. Marketing Strategy & Planning
- Develop and execute monthly and quarterly marketing plans aligned to business and sales targets
- Build and manage campaign calendars, content plans, and channel schedules
- Identify opportunities to improve lead generation, conversion, and brand awareness
- Coordinate marketing across listings, developments, investment offerings, and corporate brand
2. Social Media & Content (Organic + Paid Support)
- Develop and manage social media strategy across Meta, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok/YouTube Shorts
- Create content plans including copy, creative briefs, and publishing schedules
- Maintain consistent brand tone and engagement across platforms
- Respond to comments, DMs, and escalate enquiries where appropriate
- Support paid campaigns by briefing creatives, audiences, and objectives
3. Listings & Property Portals (Property24)
- Upload, manage, and optimise listings on Property24
- Maintain listing accuracy, pricing consistency, imagery, and documentation
- Track listing performance and implement improvements
4. Website Management (WordPress)
- Maintain and update the WordPress website (pages, listings, blogs, forms, basic SEO hygiene)
- Ensure content accuracy and alignment with lead generation goals
- Coordinate troubleshooting with web partners where required
5. CRM & Email Marketing (Zoho)
- Maintain CRM database hygiene (segmentation, tagging, data quality)
- Build and send newsletters and campaigns (investor updates, launches, listings)
- Track performance and optimise open, click, and response rates
- Support structured lead routing and follow-ups with sales/admin
6. Creative & Collateral
- Design basic marketing materials using Canva (digital ads, brochures, flyers, signage, presentations)
- Maintain templated brand assets
- Coordinate photography, video, walkthroughs, drone shoots, and editing
7. Supplier & Stakeholder Management
- Brief and manage designers, printers, photographers, videographers, agencies, and media partners
- Manage timelines, quality control, and cost efficiency
- Coordinate internal approvals and inputs
8. Reporting & Analytics
- Produce weekly and monthly performance reports across channels
- Provide insights on what’s working and recommendations for improvement
- Track lead volumes and sources where possible
9. Budget & Admin
- Support annual marketing budget setup and ongoing tracking
- Maintain organised asset libraries, supplier records, invoices, and documentation
10. Investor & Business Communication
- Create professional investment presentations and communication packs
- Support investor updates and pitch materials aligned to brand standards
Required Skills & Experience
- 2–4 years’ proven marketing experience (ATL & BTL exposure advantageous)
- Strong digital marketing knowledge and reporting capability (GA4)
- Excellent content writing and proofreading skills
- Hands-on experience managing social platforms and content calendars
- CRM and email marketing experience (Zoho beneficial)
- WordPress content management experience
- Familiarity with Mailchimp or similar platforms
- Experience with Property24 or similar portals advantageous
- Strong Canva skills (Adobe Suite a plus)
- Extremely comfortable using AI tools such as ChatGPT
- Financial awareness: budgets, supplier costs, marketing spend tracking
- Strong project management and multi-tasking ability

Working Hours & Environment
- Office-based role in Bellville
- Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
- Occasional after-hours support for launches or campaigns
