Hands On Recruitment South Africa has partnered with a leading MarTech company to find an ambitious and dynamic Programmatic Sales Executive. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing Ad Tech company in Johannesburg, specializing in innovative programmatic advertising solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background, extensive knowledge of programmatic advertising, and a passion for digital marketing.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development:
Identify and develop new business opportunities within the programmatic advertising space.
Build and maintain strong relationships with media agencies, brands, and direct clients.
Effectively pitch programmatic solutions across display, video, mobile, and native advertising to drive revenue growth.
Meet and exceed sales targets through strategic prospecting, client engagement, and closing deals.
Client Relationship Management:
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing exceptional service and support throughout the sales cycle.
Conduct presentations, demos, and sales pitches to educate clients on the benefits of programmatic advertising solutions.
Collaborate with clients to understand their business goals and tailor advertising strategies to meet their needs.
Campaign Strategy & Execution:
Partner with Ad Operations and Programmatic Trading teams to ensure seamless campaign execution, optimization, and performance.
Provide clients with data-driven insights and recommendations to maximize campaign outcomes.
Educate clients and internal teams on programmatic advancements and strategies.
Qualifications & Skills
Experience:
3-5 years of experience in digital media sales, with a focus on programmatic advertising.
Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
Hands-on experience with programmatic platforms (e.g., DV360, The Trade Desk, Xandr) and knowledge of Ad Tech solutions (e.g., DSPs, SSPs, DMPs).
Skills:
Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Excellent analytical abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
Client-focused mindset with a proven ability to build and maintain relationships.
Highly self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
