Overview:
Drive media sales across diverse platforms, including roadside, malls, airports, and campus media, with a focus on engaging clients and agencies in Johannesburg.
Responsibilities:
- Generate revenue through media sales with an emphasis on out-of-home (OOH) and campus media.
- Manage a client portfolio including media agencies and direct clients.
- Attend 10+ sales meetings per week, maintaining strong relationships with key creative agencies.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals, aligning with client objectives.
- Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and product offerings.
- Manage client entertainment and occasional after-hours engagements.
- Report weekly on sales activities, including meetings held, proposals sent, and targets achieved.
Requirements
- 2-3 years of experience in media sales, with a focus on OOH or campus media being advantageous.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and general proposal preparation.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage sales paperwork (quotes, contracts).
- Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
