Hands on Recruitment have patnered with one of South Africa’s largest mobile advertising companies, representing various global technologies, exclusively in Africa.

Our client is looking for a junior Agency Executive to join the team and service as well as grow revenues on their accounts in the greater Johannesburg area.


This position requires daily communication and service of our South African-based agencies and brands. You will be comprehensively trained on performance ways of working and how to deliver solutions for your clients’ business objectives.

Job Description

This role comprises the following responsibilities:

  • Drive new and grow existing account revenues
  • Achieve monthly sales targets
  • Provide day to day support to allocated customers where agreed
  • Manage client direct and agency relationships
  • Reporting on campaign performance
  • Activate new customers through strategic selling
  • Ensure customers are educated and informed of all new product offerings
  • Fulfill all role functionalities associated with operations and sales

A typical day consists of:

  • Educating brands & agencies on our offering
  • Preparing and presenting proposals (ad sales)
  • Managing communications with agency & brand & ensuring ad performance is optimal
  • Liaising with our Campaign Account Management team for day-to-day support

Requirements

  • Digital sales/marketing experience (minimum 3 years)
  • Programmatic and Display knowledge essential
  • Knowledge of digital advertising products essential
  • Google Ad Words and Ad Ops Knowledge
  • Knowledge of the SA agency/digital landscape
  • Excellent presentation skills – spoken and written
  • Good numerical skills – create proposals and insertion orders independently
  • Ambitious, positive attitude and a desire for self-learning and skills improvement
