Hands on Recruitment have partnered with a global advanced technology company who are looking for a Senior Sales Executive in Johannesburg

You would be in charge of developing and maintaining the relationship with key media agencies and strategic advertisers with the goal to expand our presence within the South African market. You would be responsible for the entire sales cycle; starting with new business development to finally negotiating and closing the deal.

Our client is inspired by social network advertising and develops its own technology to help brands better communicate with consumers. Its technology is optimized for distributing in a closed network of media sites.

What you will do:

  • You’ll manage the end to end sales process: from lead prospecting, scheduling pitch meetings, answering questions from prospective clients to preparing sales materials.
  • You will be responsible for developing and diversifying your client portfolio
  • Maintaining the relationship with your existing clients and media agencies
  • Organize daily meetings with clients and media agencies
  • Presentation of the agency’s Product Offering for digital advertising
  • Attend social events in order to grow your network
  • Manage sales forecast and achieve the revenue target for accounts in charge

What you need to succeed:

  • You have a real ‘hunting’ mentality and have a passion for the daily sales tasks: prospection, meetings, product presentation, afterwork, events,…
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Between 3- 5 years of experience in sales and business development
  • Good communication skills combined with strong sense of organization
  • A dynamic attitude and a proactive approach in order to achieve goals
  • Experience in selling digital solutions for advertisers: video, display, traffic, native, programmatic…
  • Knowledge and understanding of the digital ecosystem
